Have been there many years ago and now a second time. Rooms are not huge (think there are bigger ones), but clean and of course furnished. So with a wooden cupboard, wooden bed and a great plaster on the wall. We slept great, is really quiet there. Breakfast and dinner was plentiful and delicious! Price fully ok. I think we will stop by in winter. Greetings from the Heinzes.

We stayed at the Hotel Ofenschenke for over a week and explored the closer Erzgebirge from here. The somewhat remote accommodation was exactly to our taste. We felt very comfortable in this hotel. The host couple is very personable and very friendly, our breakfast lovingly arranged, the room quaint and cozy. We really enjoyed the days!

Was thirsty after a hike. Unfortunately the landlady was unable to offer me a drink. The shop had just closed. You can't be more unfriendly. I will not go there again.

A beautiful and cozy place, away from the hustle and bustle AND there is Buttermilchgetzen, a specialty from the Erzgebirge.

Went for lunch in the Ofenschenke today. Food was very delicious again. We were well looked after and will gladly come back.

Very nice restaurant with traditional Erzgebirge dishes and antique furniture. Excellent value for money, but you should reserve to get a table on Friday or weekend.

Fine, very cozy inn with not too many dishes on the menu. We had 3 different food which was delicious and well priced. The host is very friendly and you have a nice view through the large windows into the garden and the surrounding fields. We like to come back on the next motorcycle trip.

Here I was allowed to celebrate my birthday as a surprise. Great. The ambience, the food first class, the rooms very tastefully decorated and the best are the two innkeepers. Very warm and perfect hosts. We will definitely go back very soon.

A wonderful piece of earth: delicious food, great amenities (bed parts as benches, sheep skins, oven doors as lampshades), beautiful surroundings, fine playground - just wonderful. I hope that this restaurant can be maintained and find applicants who support the host couple as soon as possible.

Idyllic small country inn with very delicious food, typical Ore Mountains! I highly recommend the buttermilk Getzen. Friendly service and great atmosphere. What more do you want . Come back very happy. Thanks for the great hospitality.

It is always nice. Quiet location, beautiful courtyard design evokes old memories, friendly staff and delicious food. Like a day's holiday, to switch off.

The hotel is very nice. Ideal destination. From there you can wonderful hiking. The hotel and the environment is very nicely designed and has a welcoming feel. The food is average and not very good. The staff friendly.

Incredible that here in the apparent nowhere such a gem can hold. Very nice atmosphere, friendly service and a slightly different menu. Klitscher and buffer I have seen in variety yet. And they taste good!
